Herrell’s Ice Cream opens pop-up location in North Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – Herrell’s Ice Cream is making its way to the Mill District.

The popular ice cream shop hosted a grand opening of its pop-up store at 83 Cowls Road in North Amherst. The pop-up store will be the first step into expanding its business in western Massachusetts. For right now they will be serving ice cream cones, cups, and soda floats until the new property is ready to go.

22News spoke with the owner Judy Herrell to find out why she chose to expand her business in the Mill District, “They do a lot of things for people to come and enjoy and now they can come to get ice cream.

She also told 22News that the new store will hopefully be ready by January.  Herrell’s Ice Cream and Bakery in Northampton will remain open.
