Mega Millions at $582-million for Tuesday night drawing

DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – No one has hit the Mega Millions jackpot since June 4 and now the big prize is worth an estimated $582 million.

There have been 24 drawings since the last jackpot was won at $552 million. If there’s a winner in Tuesday night’s drawing it will be the ninth largest jackpot in the game’s history.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Tickets are $2 each and can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets for Tuesday’s drawing can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
