Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce opens new office downtown

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A new office for the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce has opened in the heart of downtown.

The Chamber’s new location at 166 Elm Street is expected to be more accessible to businesses, its members, and the community.

Their former location was in the city’s old train station for nearly 10 years but the Executive Director of the chamber, Amanda Waterfield, felt that now was the perfect time for a change. She explained to 22News the importance of having this new, visible presence in the city.

“Allows non-members to know that we’re here and active in the community, we wanna be involved in events, we have been involved in events, but being on the ground floor here at this location makes it real easy for people to come in and get what they need from us,” said Waterfield.

The chamber will be kicking off a new community event called “Dinner Downtown” on Tuesday, September 17. Four restaurants will join forces to host the dinner in the Elm Street plaza.
