    Fairs happening Labor Day weekend in Massachusetts

    NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Friday marks the first day of the Three County Fair in Northampton and the Blandford Fair!

    Festa in Ludlow : August 29th – September 2nd

    Gates open at 5 p.m. on Thursday at 438 Winsor Street in Ludlow. Food items available for purchase include Bifana, Shish Kebab, Grilled Chicken, Fried Dough and more! Thursday’s live bands feature James Paul Band and American Honey. For a list of daily events visit OLOF Festa on Facebook .

    Stone Soul Festival: August 29th – September 1st

    The 35th annual Stone Soul Festival begins Thursday, August 29th, at Blunt Park in Springfield.

    • The gates open at 6 p.m. Thursday with a karaoke concert.
    • Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. is kids’ night in the park, which offers free hamburgers, hotdogs, and live jazz.
    • Saturday from 9″30 a.m. to 9 p.m. includes free breakfast, a parade, a health fair, and food vendors.
    • Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. has a free fish fry, BBQ, ice cream, live music, and more!

    Three County Fair : August 30th – September 2nd

    The Three County Fair is one of the oldest ongoing fairs in the country that features four days full of agricultural competitions, rides, and games for all ages.

    Gates open at 4 p.m. Friday with the New England Championship Horse Pull competition. The stage kicks off with Jose Gonzalez and Banda Criolla at 5 p.m. and Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze at 7 p.m. Don’t miss the AMDC Wall of Death – America’s Original Extreme Motorcycle Thrill Show at 8:30 p.m.

    Blandford Fair : August 30th – September 2nd

    The 155th Blandford Fair kicks off at 1 p.m. on Friday and spectators are invited to watch the 4-wheel drive truck pulls beginning at 6 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with meals available for purchase served each day by North Elm Butcher Block.

    Admission is $10 for adults and new this year includes $5 entry after 5 p.m. and Monday is free for Blandford residents. For a list of events visit theblandfordfair.com .

    Armenian Festival: September 1st

    From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Armenian Festival located at 2427 Wilbraham Road in Springfield is free and offers dinner, baked goods, live music, raffles and more! To see more details before attending visit StMarkArmenianChurch.org .
