Police tape outside home on Erline Street in Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Police were called to a home on Erline Street in Chicopee Thursday morning.

A 22News crew could see yellow police crime tape located behind a home at 27 Erline Street in Chicopee along with one marked cruiser and a detective outside at this time.

Chicopee Public Information Officer Travis Odiorne told 22News that there is no public threat in the area. According to Hampden District Attorney’s Office Spokesperson Jim Leydon, the investigation is not due to a homicide.

No further information will be released.
