CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Labor Day weekend has a chance for scattered showers in western Massachusetts.

Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day. There is a chance for a spot shower in the afternoon. Most, possibly all, of the daylight hours on Saturday will be dry. High temperatures will be in the high 70s to low 80s.

Our chances for rain increase in the evening. Rain is likely after 9 pm. There could be some heavy rain and thunderstorms late Saturday evening.
