    Route 2 and Avery Brook Road in Charlemont closed after motorcycle crash

    CHARLEMONT, Mass. (WWLP) – Both directions of Route 2 and Avery Brook Road in Charlemont are closed following a motorcycle crash.

    The Shelburne Police Department responded to the crash around 6:30p.m. Sunday evening with assistance from the Shelburne Fire Department.

    Two people were hurt with life-threatening injures and are in critical condition.

    It’s unclear when Route 2 and Avery Brook Road will re-open in both directions. Drivers are being directed onto side roads.
