    Victim identified in Connecticut deadly boating accident

    OLD SAYBROOK, CT. (WWLP) – There is an update on the deadly boating accident in Old Saybrook that occurred on Monday.

    Driver allegedly stopped by police for going 57 MPH in Enfield school zone

    A boat carrying nine people hit a jetty and crashed at about 9:15 p.m. on Monday while returning from Block Island, according to Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

    Christopher Hallahan , 34, of Westbrook has been identified as one of the victims. Six people were taken to a hospital, including the boat’s operator, who is in critical condition.

    Two people remain missing, and the search resumed at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
