WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Those heading to The Big E will get to enjoy a wide variety of discounted food items during “Three-Buck Bites,” a promotional event to take place on Monday, September 16.
The Big E Fair food of 2024 you have to try As part of West Springfield Day on Monday, September 16, the event will offer special menu items from various vendors for just $3, providing a perfect opportunity for visitors to sample some of the fair’s iconic food at an affordable price.
The dishes range from small portions of fan favorites to full-sized items, depending on the vendor. Whether you’re craving sweet or savory, the fair will have something for everyone.
For those with a sweet tooth, options include:
- Cha Feo’s new Mochinut (a Japanese-style donut)
- Sweet and Salty’s fluffy cotton candy
- Kora’s Cookie Dough deep-fried chocolate chip cookie.
On the savory side, highlights include:
- Harpoon Beer Hall’s braided pizza pretzel
- American Craft Beer Pub & Grill’s mini Irish nachos
- Mr. Pickle’s pickle fries
A variety of vendors will be participating, with more than 90 dishes eligible for the promotion. Some notable menu items include:
- Cinnamon Saloon (Hampden Avenue): Oreo cookie frappuccino, a blend of coffee, ice cream, Oreo cookies, and chocolate sauce topped with whipped cream.
- Sassy’s Sweet Potatoes (East Road): Sweet potato taco, a taco filled with seasoned sweet potato mash over cilantro lime rice, with a choice of avocado ranch or salsa verde.
- Pickle Barrel Sirloin Tips (West Road): Side of mushrooms, a batch of marinated mushrooms.
- West Springfield Lions Club (West Road): Bacon cheeseburger, a classic burger topped with crispy bacon.
- LuAnn’s Bakery (New England Avenue): Frosting shot & sugar cookie, a vanilla sugar cookie paired with a shot of buttercream frosting.
- Jungle Juice Smoothies (Commonwealth Avenue): Frozen strawberry lemonade, a refreshing blend of summer flavors.
