The Boulevard Tavern and Grill holds grand re-opening in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A beloved local spot is back in east Springfield–The Boulevard Tavern and Grill, celebrated its grand re-opening on Thursday.

The new and improved space, once home to Rory’s Fitzgerald Pub and Grill, is known for the history it brings to the city.

Ties that motivated the owners to preserve the memory of their community. John Sullivan, one of the owners, started his bartender career at this location 20 years ago. He told 22News, “It’s got a lot of meaning to not only me, the personal connection but also to the East Springfield neighborhood and everybody here. People are thrilled to see the changes, renovation, and remodel.”
