Elderly Massachusetts couple dead after crash in Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) – An elderly couple has died after a crash in Foxborough Friday night.

According to the Foxborough Police Department, on Friday at approximately 4:40 p.m., officers were sent to the area of South Street and Cedar Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Two people from the same Honda Accord were taken to area hospitals for their injuries. The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash remained at the accident and cooperated with investigators.

The two who were injured have been identified as 85-year-old Joseph Borrelli and his wife, 81-year-old Carol Borrelli of North Attleboro, and both died due to their injuries.

The crash is currently being investigated. 22News will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.
