SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s the last chance for residents to check out the Glendi Greek Festival at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

According to the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, this family-friendly event features entertainment, traditional Greek food, music, and dancing at the Greek Cultural Center. There will also be a beer garden, boutiques, vendors, kid’s activities, raffle prizes, and more. The festival is expected to bring over 10,000 people from near and far.

Not only is it a fun event for the community, but all proceeds go towards supporting the St. George Cathedral. A portion of these funds will help repair the bell tower, which was damaged by a lightning strike last year.

The festival will run from noon until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
