Crash investigation closed Franklin Street in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – In Westfield on Sunday, Franklin Street was closed for several hours while police investigated a crash.

Franklin Street was closed from Conner Avenue to Sheppard Street. An officer at the accident confirmed with 22News that a crash happened at around 5:30 p.m., but they could not provide additional details.

Roads have re-opened and the investigation is ongoing. Westfield Police Captain Dickinson told 22News that the District Attorney’s office will have to provide information. 22News contacted the DA’s office and is waiting to hear back.
