    Dirt bike rider dead after head-on crash in Connecticut

    SUFFIELD, CT. (WWLP) – A dirt bike rider was killed after crashing into a car Sunday night in Suffield.

    According to police, the collision was reported at 5:35 p.m. near Copper Hill Road and Woods Hollow Road.

    Police believe that the dirt bike was traveling south on Copper Hill Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction. Both ended up in the southbound lane after a head-on collision.

    On Monday, police confirmed the dirt bike rider was a freshman who attended Suffield High School.
