HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – The Central Hampshire Veteran Services met with those who have served and their loved ones this afternoon at the Hadley Senior Center.

Organizations on site were able to connect elderly veterans with services like hearing loss, senior living, and injury care.

The oldest resident in Hadley, Stanley Fil, a World War II veteran and 103 years old, is thanking those as they help him with the secret to live long.

“The thing is you got to be active, keep moving, I’ve been brought up on a farm,” said Stanley Fil.

There will be three more informational sessions for elderly veterans and their loved ones in Hampshire County later this year.

For more information on the services Central Hampshire Veteran Services offer and upcoming sessions, visit their website here .
