Cars parked on these West Springfield streets during The Big E will be ticketed or towed

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The police are warning fairgoers that parking on certain West Springfield streets during The Big E will result in being ticketed or towed.

According to the West Springfield Police Department, beginning Friday there will be no on-street parking on the following streets:

• Memorial Ave
• River Street
• Union Street
• Lowell Ave.
• Bridge Street (West of Union St)
• Circuit Ave.
• Pearson St.
• Palmer Ave.
• Windsor St.
• Bosworth St.
• Baldwin St.
• Norman St.
• Exposition Ave and Expo Terrace
• Roanoke Ave.
• York St.
• Colony Rd.
• Cold Spring Ave.
• Sears Way
• Allston Ave.

The streets will be posted with no parking signs. Visitors to The Big E are asked to use the public parking lot at Gate 9 on Memorial Ave in West Springfield or private residences offering parking.
