WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – If you’re headed to the Big E, you can expect to see some big changes to one of the state buildings!

The Connecticut building recently received its first major interior makeover in more than 30 years. Included in that facelift, is a new 10-foot digital sign promoting everything Connecticut has to offer.

Kids can learn about the state’s contributions to the aerospace industry in the C-T Zone. There’s also a Shop C-T store, where you can buy unique items from the nutmeg state.

Connecticut’s Chief Marketing Officer, Anthony M. Anthony said he’s excited to show off the year-long renovations and give people a new perspective on our neighboring state. “This is the state of makers, creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and we’re a powerful force to the progress the nation. So making people feel like they could be a part of that,” said Anthony. “And this journey that we’re all going on together, it’s really important. I think you get that right here in Connecticut building.”

The excitement is expected to continue on Connecticut Day next Wednesday, with live bands playing outside the building all day long.
