The Big E is celebrating the town of West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Big E is celebrating the town of West Springfield on Monday.

West Springfield day here at the Big E is filled with tons of fun and there’s a special promotion that may help you save money and stay full.

The Big E has been held in West Springfield for over 100 years. The fair celebrates the town with a parade going around the fairgrounds. West Springfield Mayor Will Reichelt told 22News how New England’s annual tradition impacts the town.

It’s great for local businesses that are on the fairgrounds are able to benefit from having all of these people see their food or crafts throughout the 17 days of the fair really highly the history was Springfield at the same time so it’s great to host it.
