Overnight paving begins on Damon Road in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will begin overnight paving operations on Damon Road in Northampton on Wednesday.

According to MassDOT, the paving will take place from Wednesday through Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each night.

During the work, there will be alternating one-way traffic on Damon Road between Industrial Drive and King Street. Drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

There will be signs, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards in place to guide drivers through the work area.   All scheduled work is weather-dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
