    Driver crashes into Massachusetts electrical substation

    GARDNER, Mass. (WWLP) – A pickup driver is okay after speeding through the site of a crash straight into an electrical substation.

    Woman severely injured in Ludlow car-truck collision

    Police say the driver smashed through a fence and hit a pole at the National Grid facility in Gardner. The driver had to be rescued from the car since it was touching charged electrical equipment.

    The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and is expected to be okay. The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
