Drone video of Mohawk Trail fall foliage ahead of Columbus Day weekend

SHELBURNE FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) – 22News used a drone to travel along the Mohawk Trail of Route 2 in Shelburne Falls to show you the current foliage colors.

Franklin County is expected to see an increase in leaf-peeping travelers on Columbus Day weekend.

Massachusetts Fall Foliage Map

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation launched a fall foliage map this year. It’s current status of the Mahwak Trail shows the foliage is near peak and should reach peak colors by next week.
