22News viewer shares photos of tornado aftermath in Florida

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A western Massachusetts native shared photos with 22News of damage caused by tornadoes and Hurricane Milton to his Wellington, Florida neighborhood.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said there were over 100 tornado warnings with 19 confirmed touch downs before Hurricane Milton made landfall in Siesta Key around 8:30 p.m. According to the Associated Press, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said there were reports of as many as 10 killed from tornadoes, but he cautioned that the number was tentative.

On Friday, Emmanuel Cuevas emailed 22News photos of the tornado aftermath in Wellington , Florida located in West Palm Beach County. He said that he wanted to share with our local viewers as he used to live in western Mass. and loved watching our news.
