EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The East Longmeadow Rotary Club hosted its “Celebrate East Longmeadow” at Center Field on Saturday.

Columbus Day weekend events in western Mass.

Saturday’s festivities featured games, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and a Halloween Costume Parade for the kids. There were cheer performances, K-9 demonstrations and a costume parade for children.

There were live musical performances, including “The Voice” finalist and Westfield native, Madison Curbelo at 1:00 p.m. Over 50 craft and community vendors were in attendance, along with great food, scavenger hunts, bounce houses, lawn games, and more.

The goal of the event was to give families a fun break during this busy time a year.

“This is a great way to serve our community. We are bringing together local business owners, community members to have fun and kick off the fall season and support our local businesses,” said Alison Donnelly, the president of the East Longmeadow Rotary.

This is just one of the events that the rotary club is hosting this month.
Next, they are celebrating spooky season with a trunk-or-treat on October 30th. The event is for the community and will be held at the towns recreation center on North Main Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
