Police shutdown Beebe Road in Monson during investigation

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – A portion of Beebe Road in Monson was closed Thursday morning due to a police investigation.

According to the Monson Police Department, Beebe Road was closed between Town Farm Road and Old Reed Road at around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Police say that they were assisting the Massachusetts State Police in an investigation.

Due to the narrow road and the amount of police vehicles, traffic was detoured until around 10:45 a.m. Monson Police said that there was no threat to the public.

22News contacted State Police for additional information and is waiting to hear back.
