    Cocaine, firearm seized during police search on Walnut Street in Holyoke

    HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A man faces several firearm and drug charges after police conducted a search inside a home on Walnut Street in Holyoke.

    According to the Holyoke Police Department, on Wednesday officers conducted a search warrant at 359 Walnut Street and seized a large-capacity firearm and large a quantity of cocaine.

    Officers arrested 29-year-old Carlos Marrero who is charged with the following:

    • Possession to Distribute Class A
    • Trafficking Class B 36-100 grams
    • Possession of Large Capacity Feeding device
    • Possession of Firearm w/o FID
    • Possession of Ammunition w/o FID
    • Improper Storage of a Firearm

    The investigation was conducted by members of the Holyoke Police Department in conjunction with C.I.N.R.E.T.
