In honor of the Miracle League Season, they sponsored and participated in a special Halloween-themed celebration on Sunday. This event provided a fun-filled, heartwarming occasion for children and their families.

Players were dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes and were able to go trick-or-treating on the Aschermann Field at Springfield College. At the end of the event, players received end-of-season gifts and medals to honor their participation and hard work.

Nanci Streit, the mother of a Miracle League player, told 22News that her daughter has been in the league for three seasons. She said this league gives her daughter a place to fit in and have fun.

“The world is filled with competition everywhere you go. Miracle League created a playing field where all of the abilities are honored and valued. The kids can use every ability they have to shine and it’s equal here,” said Streit.

This event is one that many Miracle League players and their families look forward to every season.

“We are proud to support such a fantastic organization that enriches the lives of so many children with special needs,” said Morgan Bennett, Business Development Director at AQRS. “This event is an opportunity for us to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of these amazing kids.”
