    Woman dead after crash on Enfield Street in Enfield

    ENFIELD, CT. (WWLP) – The Enfield Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that took place on Enfield Street on Friday.

    According to the Enfield Police Department, officers were called to Enfield Street just north of the intersection with South Road at approximately 1:39 p.m. for a crash involving one SUV and one pickup truck.

    The driver of the pickup truck, 27-year-old Christian Andrade of Somers, was taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment, and the driver of the SUV, 63-year-old Ira Anopolsky of Enfield, was taken to Hartford Hospital for their injuries. The passenger of the SUV, 62-year-old Patricia Carey of Enfield, died in the crash.

    The crash is being investigated by the Enfield Police Department’s Traffic Division. If anyone has information regarding the crash, call 860-763-8920.
