    OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. (KOAM) — About 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon reports of a serious two vehicle crash on US-60 at OK-10 alerted Miami Okla. E-911 Center.

    Wyandotte Fire Dept, Quapaw EMS, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Wyandotte Nation Police, Shawnee Tribal Police responded. Oklahoma Highway Patrol were notified.

    A 2019 Chevy Trax, driven by Lorie Boyd , 59, of Mounds, Kan. was rushed to Mercy Joplin but succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.

    A passenger in her vehicle, Edward Boyd , 63, was not injured.

    A 2018 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Gary Goswick , 71 of Wichita Kan. was transported to Mercy Joplin for minor injuries. The same of his passenger, Betty Goswick , 78.

    “[Chevy] failed to yield to a stop sign and slowed down in the intersection and attempted to make a left-hand turn in front of [Jeep]. Causing [Jeep] to T-bone [Chevy].”
