PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Emergency crews in Pittsfield responded to a structure fire on Friday night. According to the Pittsfield Fire Department, firefighters were deployed to the scene of 11-13 Third Street for reports of an active fire seen by an officer that was on patrol and began to wake up the tenants from both sides.

Albany Police investigate Whitehall Road shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Albany Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Saturday night. According to a release, at approximately 9:15 p.m. Saturday, staff from Albany Medical Center Hospital notified police that a 34-year-old man had entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his foot. Upon arrival at the hospital, officers said they spoke with the victim, who told them that he was shot while outside in the backyard of a residence in the area of Whitehall Road and Kate Street.
