WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a crash caused a power outage in Wyoming early Thursday morning.

Kent County dispatch said the crash happened around 4 a.m. near the intersection of 28th Street and Clyde Park Avenue.

Eastbound 28th Street and Clyde Park Avenue were closed as authorities worked to clear the scene. The roads have since reopened.

According to the Consumers Energy outage map, the outage affected more than 3,369 customers. Shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday, power was restored to most affected customers. However, 55 customers remain without power.

It’s unknown what led to the crash or if there were any injuries.
