    Remembering the Battle of Wyoming 246 years later

    WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBREW/WYOU) — Wyoming Monument National Historic Site is remembering the 246th Anniversary of the Battle and Massacre of Wyoming on Thursday.

    The Wyoming Commemorative Association sponsored the event.

    Celebrating Independence Day the old-fashioned way in Wilkes-Barre

    They had a concert performed by the Wyoming Valley Band along with a ceremony.

    John Yudichak served as the principal speaker, he has previously served as a member of the Senate for 12 years and as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for 12 years.

    The event was open to the public.
