    Four family members of US gospel group The Nelons killed in devastating plane crash

    Four members of renowned gospel group The Nelons have died in a tragic plane crash .

    The group was traveling to a performance when their aircraft went down, claiming the lives of seven individuals, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and son-in-law Nathan Kistler. Also among the deceased were pilot Larry Haynie, his wife Melissa, and the family's assistant Melodi Hodges.

    They were headed to Alaska for the Gaither Homecoming Cruise when their plane met with disaster over Wyoming . The local sheriff's office has confirmed that there were no survivors from the crash.

    Autumn Nelon Streetman, who is also part of the gospel ensemble but was not aboard the flight, issued a heartfelt statement following the catastrophe: "As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber, and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry, and Melissa Haynie, were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday."

    She continued with words of gratitude and a request for support: "Thank you for the prayers that have been extended already to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as Jason's parents, Dan and Linda Clark. We appreciate your continued prayers, love, and support as we navigate the coming days."

    Reports indicate that the plane ignited post-crash, leading to a wildfire that prompted an immediate response from emergency services and fire departments.

    Before the tragic accident, the family documented their airport experience in a vlog, sharing their excitement for the trip. Their followers have since poured out heartfelt tributes, with one saying: "Wow! No words... praying for their families and friends. I am sure this video will be one their families keep close to their hearts. May the Lord be near to all who knew them. PTL they are singing in Glory and we will all meet up again one day. #comequicklylord."

    Another added in disbelief: "So hard to watch this now." One more shared: "Absolutely heartbreaking. Praying for God's comfort for Autumn and the rest of the family. Comfort them Lord."

    And yet another expressed their sorrow: "So heartbroken tonight! I know God has a plan but this one is tough... prayers for Autumn and family."
