Fans confused with Molly Qerim’s stunning snaps as First Take host heads for first ‘beach’ trip of summer

FIRST Take host Molly Qerim’s caption of a picture led to confusion from fans on social media – but the 40-year-old would turn out to be right.

Qerim showed off a pic of herself at Lake Michigan on Friday.

First Take was broadcast from the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago.

Stephen A. Smith returned from vacation and appeared on the special edition of the show .

Qerim also worked on the show which airs from 10 am Eastern to noon.

Afterward, she posted a snap of herself at Lake Michigan on X.

Qerim rocked sunglasses as she wore an Argentina soccer jersey and jean shorts while she was near the water.

“My 1st time at the beach this summer . Lake Michigan. Thank you to everyone who came to our NABJ show today,” she wrote in the caption.

Fans in the comments believed that Qerim wasn’t at a beach.

“That is a lake, not a beach,” one wrote.

“Molly that ain’t no beach, stop it,” another wrote.

“Lake Michigan is not a beach,” a third added.

“That is not a beach Molly,” a fourth commented.

Qerim was, right, however as Lake Michigan has many beaches.

While she wasn’t at the stunning beaches of Mauii, Qerim was still technically right as she was near a strip of land covered with sand.

Lakes can have beaches.

Qerim’s appearance on Friday comes after enjoying a vacation this summer and was off the air Thursday.

Last weekend, she was in Wyoming and impressed fans with her pics on Instagram .

In one of them, Qerim wore a “Rockstar Cowgirl” themed outfit .

As for Stephen A., he enjoyed a longer vacation in July.

He appeared on First Take three days last week before taking another break, where he has been out for most of July.
