A play in the park: True Troupe to perform Shakespearean comedy ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

CHEYENNE — Classic plays, although sometimes hard to understand in this day and age, are still vital assets to today’s atmosphere. The True Troupe Theatre group has made this notion their mission through their “Classics in the Park” series — the most recent of which is their upcoming performance of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.”

True Troupe is a Cheyenne-based nonprofit that puts on free or highly discounted plays. Adrianna True, the group’s owner and a “Much Ado About Nothing” producer, said the theater’s mission is to bring plays to audiences who may not have access to them due to economic hardship. They also strive to make classical plays more understandable, True said.
