Wyoming High School Boys Soccer Scoreboard: April 23-27, 2024
It is Week 7 for high school boys’ soccer teams in Wyoming. There are four days of action this week. Most of the games are conference matches. One interclass match is part of the schedule. There are two non-conference games, and Douglas faces a Nebraska school. Four matches feature ranked teams against each other. That includes a No. 1 vs. No. 2 rematch in 3A as Torrington visits Worland on Saturday.
Wyoming High School Girls Soccer Scoreboard: April 23-27, 2024
Prep girls’ soccer in Wyoming is in Week 7 of its 2024 season. Matches will occur on four days this week, weather permitting. Besides conference play, there is one interclass match and a couple of non-conference matches among 3A schools, and Douglas will face an out-of-state opponent. New rankings are out on Wednesday, but as of Tuesday morning, there are three ranked games, which include a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown in 4A girls’ soccer on Friday.
PhotoFest: Natrona Invitational Track Meet
The weather cooperated earlier this month for the Natrona Invitational Track and Field meet in Casper so this was a great gauge-of-ability event heading into the final leg of the season. On the girl's side, Kelly Walsh placed first with 201 points and Natrona was right behind them with 190. Lander was 3rd with 142.5, Douglas 4th with 53.5, and Campbell County 5th with 39.

Student-athletes in rodeo, track, soccer, and softball are the finalists for the WyoPreps Athlete of the Week honors, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming. This week’s poll allows you to vote for one of six girls and six/seven boys. After receiving nominations and considering the best performances from last week, these are the finalists. These nominees performed well during competitions between April 15 and April 20, 2024. Nominations for this week are closed!
Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard: April 22-28, 2024
It is the busiest week of the Wyoming Legion Baseball season so far in 2024. Week 4 has games on six days. Ten teams will make their debut this week, including the two Casper teams, Cheyenne Eagles, Cody, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Laramie A, Lovell, and Wheatland. Some teams are playing in the state, but a lot are facing opposition from out of the state.
Wyoming High School Softball Scoreboard: April 22-27, 2024
The 2024 high school softball season in Wyoming is in Week 7. Games are spread across five days this week. It’s a mix of rescheduled games and those that were planned. Laramie will be one of the busiest teams with a game on four different days this week. A top-two showdown on Thursday in Gillette highlights the schedule. Casper will host action on Friday and Saturday. No. 5 Wheatland is off this week.

The spring season is rolling along and we want to take a look back at a few events that were held the week before last. The soccer, softball, and track teams were going at it with different kinds of weather conditions. The Wyoming high school athletes have always displayed resolve, and it's no exception this year.
Wyoming High School Outdoor Track Scoreboard: April 22-27, 2024
It will be another busy week for track and field student-athletes around Wyoming. A highlight of this week is the prestigious Wyoming Track Classic. It is a ‘best of the best’ track meet based on invites and the top times and marks to this point of the 2024 season. That track meet is one of 16 in the state this week. Three track meets got added to this week after they were postponed last week. From Cheyenne to Douglas, Riverton to Gillette, Powell to Evanston, Baggs to Buffalo, Saratoga to Pinedale, Wright to Casper, and Lusk to Cowley, plus out-of-state track meets, Week 7 is packed full of competition.

Wyoming High School Boys Soccer Standings: April 21, 2024
High school boys' soccer in Wyoming has finished six weeks of the 2024 season. There was a new leader in the 3A West, as the Green River Wolves vaulted to the top. The other three conference leaders remained Torrington, Kelly Walsh, and Cheyenne Central. There was one change in each of the four conferences. This update included all games played through April 20, 2024.

Wyoming High School girls' soccer teams are through Week 6 of the 2024 season. After several league matches, there was at least one change in all four of the conferences. Based on the points, Lander, Worland, Kelly Walsh, and Campbell County have the lead in their respective conference. The standings include all matches played through April 20, 2024.

Congratulations to the recipient of our first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year Award for Boys’ Nordic Skiing, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Wyld Gear. The winner is Lander Valley senior Bennett Hutchison. Hutchison was a state champion and led Wyoming in all-state points in the 2023-24 season.

Upton’s Ethan Schiller Inks for Track at Dickinson State
Upton senior Ethan Schiller has signed at Dickson State University for track and field. Schiller is the reigning Class 1A triple jump state champion. He jumped 43-10.25 at the state championships last year for the title and won by over two feet. Schiller also competed in the high jump and on Upton’s 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays.
