The Yadkin County Chamber of Commerce has announced the 15th annual Yadkin Winter Reds wine event to be held two weekends this month, Feb. 17-18 and 24-25.

The Winter Reds features Yadkin County wineries showcasing their incredible wine paired with a small serving dish. Organizers say it’s perfect for a day trip or a weekend getaway for out-of-towners and popular with locals as well.

Participating Yadkin County wineries will feature their “Winter Red” (2 oz. pour) in a souvenir wine glass paired with a 3 oz. serving of a tasty food item. This year hours will be Saturday Noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each ticket holder will be assigned to a starting winery where they will receive their souvenir wine glass and a map. Participants will travel around to each participating winery to sample food and wine. Ticket is good for both days, Saturday and Sunday — one visit per winery.

Tickets are $42 per person for the Feb. 17-18 dates and $35 for Feb. 24-25. The deadline to purchase tickets is Feb. 14. for the Feb. 17-18 event and Feb. 21 for the Feb. 24-25 event. Below are the participating wineries and menu/wine selections for each weekend.
