Yakima County Sheriff's Office investigating deadly shooting south of Grandview
GRANDVIEW, Wash. - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting from Wed., July 3 south of Grandview and east of Mabton, according to a press release. The release says at around 2:25 a.m., a woman called 911 reporting that her dad had been shot in the area of South Euclid Road and Bridgeview Road after an alleged fight between him and her ex-boyfriend.
Arraignment set for Kennewick woman charged in DUI crash deaths of two motorcyclists near Selah
A Kennewick woman is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on vehicular homicide charges in connection with a crash that killed two motorcyclists in June. Yakima County prosecutors charged Beth Ann Striver, 24, with two counts each of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, alleging that she was driving while impaired when she turned in front of a group of motorcyclists north of Selah June 21.

Yakima County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide near Grandview. Sheriff’s deputies were called for a man who had been shot in the 10 block of Bridgeview Road south of Grandview around 2:40 a.m., YSO Sgt. Jason Pepper said. Grandview police secured the scene, and deputies found a man in his mid-30s who was dead in a truck, Pepper said.

Friends and family of Sandeep Dey put out a plea on social media asking for help locating him after he went missing during a solo Mount Adams hike this week. According to friends, Dey started the hike around 10 p.m. Thursday, June 27, and summited the mountain at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28. His friends received their last text from him around this time, saying that he was starting his descent.
