    UPDATE: Hillman Fire evacuations downgraded to Level 1 (Be Ready)

    YAKIMA, Wash. - 11:00 p.m . - According to West Valley Fire-Rescue, all evacuations have been downgraded to Level 1 (Be Set).

    6:45 p.m. - The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation center for those who have had to leave their homes due to the Hillman Fire in Yakima.

    The center opened 6:30 p.m. at Summit View Church of Christ. It is located at 100 North 72nd Avenue, Yakima.

    Items for people include food, cots and other urgent needs. People who need to leave their homes will need to bring prescription and emergency medication, extra clothing, pillows, blankets, hygiene supplies and other comfort items. Baby supplies should also be brought.

    4:30 p.m. - Yakima Valley Emergency Management says Level III Evacuation Orders have been issued for the 1100 block of Hillman Road and the surrounding area.

    There is a large wildfire in the area and it is a threat to people's safety and properties.

    The evacuation order includes the following:

    • From Rocky Top Road to Summitview Road
    • Extension from Summitview Road to Summitview Road
    • Extension from Summitview Road to Mahre Road
    • Area between Rocky Top Road and Mahre Road
