    Jrue Holiday.

Jrue Holiday has developed a reputation for being a "winning player." He entered the 2024 Olympics fresh off winning his second NBA championship as a member of the Boston Celtics. Holiday went to Boston via trade ahead of the season.

On Saturday, Holiday won his second Olympic gold medal. He was also part of the Team USA roster that won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Interestingly, Holiday had also won a championship that year, helping the Milwaukee Bucks win their second NBA title in franchise history and the first in 50 years.

Following Team USA's 98-87 win over France in the Paris Olympics final, ESPN's Andrew Lopez revealed that Holiday has become just the second player to win an NBA championship and Olympic gold medal in the same summer on two separate occasions. The other player to achieve that feat is Scottie Pippen.

Holiday is a "glue guy." He does everything at a high level on both sides of the floor. He is a defensive specialist and arguably one of the best defensive guards in the world. His presence on Team USA's roster ensured they had a reliable point-of-attack defender who could also create shots for others and generate his own offense when required.

The Celtics understand the value Holiday brings to a rotation. It wasn't until they acquired him that they finally got over the hump to win in the NBA Finals. It would appear Team USA is also aware of what he provides to a team, having taken him to back-to-back Olympics, despite him not being among the biggest names in the NBA.

Holiday will head into next season looking to win his third NBA championship, which could potentially lead him to earning another rare and obscure feat, assuming one exists. At 34 years old, Holiday is stacking accolades and developing a resume that will likely see him enter the NBA Hall of Fame once his career is over. Given his value and recent level of play, his resume might continue to grow in the coming years.
