New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers.

New York Giants fans can breath a sigh of relief the injury bug hasn't nipped their top 2024 draft pick.

Rookie wideout Malik Nabers won't miss much time with a sprained ankle , head coach Brian Daboll shared on Tuesday.

ESPN reporter Jordan Raanan posted on X that Daboll confirmed to the press Nabers' testing came back negative and his ankle injury is not "long term."

Nabers was seen limping from practice over the weekend and was originally designated as day-to-day by the team.

He missed practice on Monday, his first absence since being selected No. 6 overall by New York in April.

Daboll also said the 21-year-old will not practice again Tuesday but The Athletic's Charlotte Carroll posted a video on X of Nabers (who wears No. 9) dressed without pads and stretching with the team, another positive sign.

It's unclear if Nabers will return to full practice this week.

New York has its second preseason game against the reigning AFC South champion Houston Texans on Saturday.
