    UFC fighter Tai Tuivasa

The title fight atop UFC 305 is given all the headlines for the event, but heavyweights Tai Tuivasa and Jairzinho Rozenstruik are looking to steal the show.

As two heavy-handed strikers who both average fewer than nine minutes per fight in the UFC, Tuivasa and Rozenstruik were always expected to have one of the most exciting brawls of the night. At the UFC 305 pre-fight news conference, the two confirmed that would be the case when prompted by a reporter.

The reporter asked Rozenstruik if he planned to "stand until someone falls" with Tuivasa, which the heavyweight began to answer before being interrupted by his opponent. After a brief exchange, Rozenstruik said they would "make it happen" as two of the most powerful fighters in the UFC.

The last time Tuivasa made a similar pre-fight agreement was ahead of UFC 271, when he agreed to "swang and bang" with Derrick Lewis. Tuivasa won the back-and-forth barn burner with a second-round knockout and received an extra $50,000 with a Performance of the Night bonus.

Tuivasa is the slightly more experienced fighter when compared with Rozenstruick, having taken part in two more professional bouts, but both heavyweights have won 93% of their fights by knockout. Each owns 14 total wins with 13 by knockout and the one other by decision.

As a native of Sydney, Australia, Tuivasa received one of the loudest ovations at the news conference and is expected to be the crowd-favorite fighter at the time he walks out to the Octagon. He will need every inch of inspiration that he can get as he looks to end a four-fight losing streak which has lasted since February 2022.

There are a lot of exciting matchups across the 12 fights on the UFC 305 card but it is difficult to see any of them being better than Tuivasa vs. Rozenstruik if the fighters stay true to their word.

because neither have any "real" mma talent. Just 2 brawlers. Nothing to see here, more loser garbage UFC fights. Almost as bad as Tony Ferguson and his 8 fight losing streak headlining event. The UFC is losing it!
