    Maxwell Jacob Friedman aka MJF.

The Young Bucks are a huge part of AEW. They were part of the original "All-In" that helped convince Tony Khan to launch the company. They are executive vice presidents and have been part of the roster since the company launched in 2019.

Kenny Omega and MJF were also part of that original show and have been with Tony Khan since day one.

However, as more new faces join AEW and the company garners new fans from around the world, the Young Bucks' importance to the promotion is becoming increasingly overlooked. During a recent interview with "WrestleTalk," MJF addressed that fact when he urged fans and talent alike to show Matt and Nick Jackson the respect they deserve.

"I was in the first match in AEW history, the Casino Battle Royale where I defeated Hangman Page and cut a great promo on Bret Hart," MJF said. "None of that happens without Matt and Nick Jackson. I think it’s unfortunate that, if new people come into my company, they should be showing them that respect that they earned and deserve. I feel the fans should be showing them that respect they earned and deserved."

The Young Bucks have been comprising a heel role over the past few months, thus creating some animosity within the fanbase. Nevertheless, the more they're disliked in their current spot, the better job they're doing.

The truth is that Matt and Nick Jackson are a core part of why AEW is what it is today. They were part of the original group that took the company from concept to reality and have stuck with it throughout its tremendous growth stages over the past five years. Furthermore, they took on a more prevalent role within the programming as questions over the locker room began to surface following CM Punk's dismissal.

MJF is also one of AEW's original talents. He's on course to become the first ever homegrown superstar by the company and is already considered among the best wrestlers on the planet. As such, his decision to speak out on behalf of the Young Bucks should carry some weight.

Unfortunately for AEW's star tag-team, they're unlikely to get the credit and respect they deserve while in their current storyline. Still, that doesn't mean that most of the fanbase and talent within the locker room won't respect what they've done in the company and what they will continue to do as AEW grows in the coming years.
