Bust your college team gear out of the back of the closet, because Week 0 has arrived. And if we're ushering in the official start of the CFB season, there are also a few wagers that are asking to be placed.

There's no better way to warm back up to betting on college football than to wager on Week 0. With just four games taking place on Saturday, you have the best chance of zeroing in on matchups — and wagers — before the schedule gets jam-packed.

Here are three must-place bets for Week 0.

Nevada vs. SMU, Under 56 points

The points line has dipped from 57.5, and now DraftKings favors the Over to hit for a -112 payout. However, The Athletic's Austin Mock is leaning toward the Under in this game since the Mustangs played in more low-scoring games last season. That, and Nevada's offense isn't projected to be very strong this season.

"With [SMU] being over a three-touchdown favorite, I don’t expect them to be playing with that much pace here," Mock wrote. "I didn’t forget about the two-minute warning, and I’ve done my best to adjust my scoring environment to pick up the change, but in an expected blowout, I don’t expect it to factor in as much here."

Florida State vs. Georgia Tech, Over 55.5 points

BetMGM's Chase Kiddy acknowledges that the Under is typically favored in Week 0 matchups because "defenses are ahead of offenses in August." That being said, he thinks this game will have a higher score than anticipated.

Kiddy notes that many of the Seminoles' starters from last year have graduated, although they will have former Oregon State gunslinge r DJ Uiagalelei under center this year. Georgia Tech, meanwhile, has most of its roster returning and could end up keeping this game close as the underdogs when these teams face off in Dublin this weekend.

"Given the overall talent gap between the rosters, I think it’s also a potential reason why the spread is shorter than two full touchdowns," Kiddy wrote.

Montana State vs. New Mexico, Over 54 points

DraftKings has the over/under evenly priced at -110 a side, so which way should you swing? Sports Illustrated has its eyes set on the Over in this game.

Between head coach Jason Beck joining New Mexico from Syracuse and Tommy Mellott taking over as QB1 for the Bobcats, Saturday's game promises to be a clinic for the offenses.

"I believe this game can feature a bunch of explosive plays given the skill position players on both sides," SI's Reed Wallach wrote. "For what it’s worth Beck’s offense at Syracuse was 61st in seconds per snap last season, so we could see an up-tempo affair, especially if the Lobos fall behind like oddsmakers suggest."
