Even if Yankees starter Nestor Cortes pitches well, the Yankees bullpen has the fourth-highest ERA in baseball over the last two weeks (5.53).

The Baltimore Orioles smoked the New York Mets on Tuesday night to cash our second straight Look of the Day this week, and we're looking to keep the good times rolling with a third straight winner. Let's stay hot with our favorite MLB play for Wednesday's slate.

Look of the Day: Cleveland Guardians @ New York Yankees over 8.5 (-108 DraftKings )

Guardians at Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET

The Guardians are taking on the Yankees on Wednesday night in a battle between two 73-win teams, and we're sensing a high-scoring affair between these two World Series hopefuls.

Let's begin with the pitchers. Yankees starter Nestor Cortes went seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts in his last start, but he had the luxury of going up against the dreadful Chicago White Sox. He's not fooling us with that performance. In his five starts leading up to that one, Cortes had a 9.26 ERA. Opposing hitters put up a .360 batting average and a .670 slugging percentage against him over that span. We think that Cortes will return on Wednesday night against a real major league lineup. Even if the lefty pitches well, the Yankees bullpen has the fourth-highest ERA in baseball over the last two weeks (5.53).

On the other side, Guardians rookie Joey Cantillo has struggled with a 7.24 ERA, a .291 xBA and a 48.8 percent hard-hit rate through three starts. He's already surrendered nine earned runs and four homers, and opposing hitters are absolutely demolishing his 4-seam fastball (.480 batting average, 1.000 slugging percentage).

As for the hitting conditions, Yankee Stadium has produced the most home runs of any ballpark in MLB this year (168), and the wind is projected to blow strongly out to right field during the game.
