    Ricochet.

Ricochet has been linked with AEW since he decided not to renew his contract with WWE. Will Ospreay has been vocal about his desire to see the high-flyer join Tony Khan's company and be given the freedom he deserves inside the ring.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select , Ricochet has signed a multiyear deal with AEW. He could make his debut at All-In in Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

"Fightful did confirm that Ricochet is planned for upcoming AEW shows, and has a multiyear agreement with the company," Sapp reported. "Several familiar with the situation claimed that Ricochet is traveling to London for AEW All In, and was planned for the show. We haven’t learned what his planned involvement would be. Ricochet worked with an agent for the deal, we’re told."

Ricochet gives AEW another high-level talent who thrived before teaming up with WWE. His time with New Japan Pro Wrestling and then Lucha Underground produced some iconic matches for the diehard wrestling fan base. Unfortunately, his style never found the right home in WWE, and he spent most of his tenure with the company consigned to mid-card obscurity.

A debut at All-In, where he could help or hinder Ospreay in his match against MJF, would be the perfect introduction to AEW. It would instantly set up a storyline with another elite high-flyer while providing a moment with viral potential on social media.

While Ricochet isn't a big name to the casual fan base, he could be a solid draw for diehards who remember his tenures outside of WWE. His addition to the roster is smart business by Khan and could pay dividends in the coming months as he gets back into the ring and reminds everyone why he was such an exciting talent a few years ago.

However, Khan and AEW's creative team must ensure Ricochet doesn't get lost in the shuffle . They already have a deep roster. Signing him to a contract means the company sees something in him. He deserves enough time and opportunity to prove them right. Hopefully, he gets that chance.
