Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong reacts after hitting an inside-the-park home run against the Miami Marlins during the third inning at loanDepot Park.

Chicago Cubs centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong has not yet made a significant impact with his bat at the major league level. But he does have a ton of speed, and he showcased that on Friday night by hitting an inside-the-park home run against the Miami Marlins.

An inside-the-park home run is always exciting, but this one was especially so because Crow-Armstrong motored his way around the bases going from home to home in a staggering 14 seconds.

    Have a look.

According to Bleacher Report, that is the fastest home-to-home time in the league this season.

That is Crow-Armstrong's sixth home run of the season and helped lift the Cubs to a 6-3 win and bring them to within one game of .500 (64-65).

It might be too little, too late when it comes to earning a playoff spot, but they have been playing significantly better baseball in the second half of the season and especially throughout the month of August.
