    West Ham's Tomas Soucek.

West Ham players Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen went from their on-field heroics to literally saving the day for a young boy — all in the span of seconds.

In the 75th minute of their match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Bowen scored to put West Ham up 2-0 and came to the sideline to celebrate with Soucek.

But in that moment, overexcited fans caused a large electronic advert barrier to tip over on top of the ball boy sitting next to it.

Soucek and Bowen leaped into action and freed the boy from under the barrier.

Thanks to their quick thinking, it appeared the boy escaped without any serious injuries.

Thankfully, no other injuries were reported in Saturday's incident.

West Ham would go on to defeat Crystal Palace 2-0 behind Soucek and Bowen's goal-scoring and heroic efforts.
