Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot.

We're starting to find our stride again in our Look of the Day series, as we closed out last week with a winner on the Kansas City Royals to improve to 4-1 in our last five picks. Let's keep it rolling with our favorite MLB play for Monday's slate.

Look of the Day: Ryan Pepiot over 16.5 outs recorded (-114 FanDuel )

Rays at Mariners, 9:40 p.m. ET

The Tampa Bay Rays travel west to take on the Seattle Mariners on Monday night, and we're looking for Pepiot to put up another strong performance on the mound.

Pepiot went on the injured list last month due to an infection from a bug bite, so he ended up getting a month of rest before returning fresh for the final stretch of the season. Since returning to the starting rotation, the right-hander has given up only nine hits and two earned runs in two starts. He has a 0.97 WHIP and a minuscule 25.0 percent hard-hit rate since making his return.

The Rays worked Pepiot back into form by letting him throw only 80 pitches in his first start back, but he threw 90 pitches and went 6.0 innings in his last start. His workload is only going to increase as the season goes on, and this is a great matchup for him to rack up a ton of easy outs.

The Mariners have the fifth-lowest batting average (.213) and OPS (.637) against right-handed pitching over the last two weeks, and they're averaging just 3.25 runs per game in that span. In his lone start against Seattle this season, Pepiot struck out eight batters and gave up just one hit. We like him to go over his outs prop on Monday.
