Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has set himself up for nice Hollywood career

Kansas City Chiefs all-world tight end Travis Kelce has become the darling of the NFL, but he turns 35 in October and his days as arguably the NFL’s top TE are dwindling.

Unlike many pro athletes, though, Kelce won’t need to wonder what he will do upon retiring from the game. Between his relationship with Taylor Swift and the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Kelce will have more than enough to keep him busy in the spotlight whenever he decides to hang up his cleats.

Speaking of “New Heights,” the brother duo just landed a deal with Amazon for over $100 million to host the podcast. Kelce is already considered one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, but in the next few years, he might be one of the more recognizable personalities in Hollywood.

By combining a winning personality with dating one of the two biggest pop stars (Beyonce being the other) in the world, for Kelce, only the sky is the  limit. With the way his podcast has taken off, it’s not far-fetched that Kelce could become one of the next great talk show hosts if he wanted to.

Kelce is also hanging out with stars like Adam Sandler, who was recently a guest on the podcast. If you’ve got Sandler on your side in  Hollywood you’re destined to go places. While on podcast with the Kelce brothers, Sandler gushed about how much his family loves the Kelce-Swift union.

“When you guys first started dating, my God was my family like, ‘Yes! Look how good they are together! He’s a gentleman and she’s having so much fun!’” Sandler said .

If Kelce keeps Swift and her fans happy, he could end up having the type of transition we’ve seen from The Rock over the past two decades. The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) began as a professional wrestler before slowly transforming into arguably the biggest attraction in Hollywood.

The blueprint has been laid out, all Kelce needs to do is capitalize — if he wants it. Regardless of how much longer he plays, Kelce’s dance card already seems like it’ll be full whenever he does walk off into that NFL sunset.
