Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (6) celebrates with his teammates after Jung hits a game-winning three-run walk-off home run during the tenth inning against the Oakland Athletics at Globe Life Field.

The Texas Rangers keep finding ways to win close games.

On Sunday, with the Oakland Athletics leading 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth inning, A's relief pitcher Mason Miller fired a 102 mph four-seam fastball. Rangers third baseman Josh Jung crushed the pitch for a 348-foot, three-run walk-off home run.

The Rangers won two of three games in their series against the A's and had two walk-offs. In a 3-2 victory on Saturday, Texas center fielder Leody Taveras singled to center in the bottom of the ninth inning, and third baseman Ezequiel Duran scored.

The Rangers also erased a four-run deficit in a 6-5 win against the Minnesota Twins on Aug. 18.

Texas (65-72) is third in the American League West behind the Seattle Mariners (69-67) and Houston Astros (75-62), trailing by 10 games.

The Rangers could be catching fire at the right time, though, as they've won seven of their last 10 games . The defending World Series champions must keep building momentum to sneak back into the playoff hunt.
